It is used to celebrate milestones and significant events, and marks the transitions between one stage of our lives and the next.  Ceremony can be celebratory, can facilitate change in our lives, and can be healing. It can acknowledge what has gone before today, and can welcome the changes that are to come.

Although known for her work as a wedding celebrant, Dorothy also is respected for her work in writing and delivering funeral ceremonies, naming ceremonies, re-affirmation ceremonies, and others which may not be so commonly known.
